Lofoten, Where the Sun Never Sets

recently spent a week in the Lofoten Islands, Norway and shot a short film with a Phantom 4. It was filmed over one week in June 2016, across the beautiful Lofoten Islands, where the sun never sets and 24 hour daylight illuminates the landscape.

Lofoten is an archipelago and a traditional district in the county of Nordland, Norway. Lofoten is known for a distinctive scenery with dramatic mountains and peaks, open sea and sheltered bays, beaches and untouched lands. Though lying within the Arctic Circle, the archipelago experiences one of the world’s largest elevated temperature anomalies relative to its high latitude. (Wikipedia)

All shot on DJI Phantom 4, 4K 25fps, Dlog with ND16 for the daylight shots. Graded in film convert and FCP 10 colour correction tools. Filmed and edited by: Theo Gove-Humphries.
